Site Manager – 50,000 – South London

Overview

In this role, you will lead a 15-month cut and carve fit-out project in South London, serving as the second site manager on a well-established contractor renowned for office fit-outs, new builds and refurbishment. You’ll drive on-site delivery, safety, and coordination with cross-functional teams to meet programme milestones. You’ll oversee high-end office fit-out works, ensuring quality and timely execution on a demanding site. This opportunity offers hands-on leadership in a reputable contracting environment with scope to impact project outcomes and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on a cut and carve office fit-out project
• Lead and motivate on-site teams to deliver to programme and quality standards
• Ensure safety, welfare, and compliance on site (First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS)
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain progress
• Maintain project documentation, progress reporting, and issue resolution
• Support the Site Manager and contribute to site management decisions

Key requirements

• Experience with cut and carve projects
• Strong track record delivering new build residential schemes
• Proven man-management skills to lead full site teams
• First Aid, SMSTS, and CSCS certifications
• Main contracting or refurbishment contractor experience
• Office experience on high-end cut and carve projects
