Senior Health, Safety & Fire Consultant

Overview

In this role you will join Ramboll’s Health, Safety and Fire consultancy to deliver risk management services across sectors. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to address regulatory and corporate requirements, culture, and technical challenges in safety and fire. The position offers development opportunities with a flexible, collaborative culture and opportunities to travel for project work. You will help clients improve safety performance while growing your own expertise in health, safety and fire risk.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health, safety and fire risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Execute project work including corporate and regulatory compliance auditing, report writing, risk assessments, training delivery, ad-hoc advice, and tailored client solutions
• Collaborate with clients across diverse sectors
• Support bids and development of proposals for new client work
• Support promotion of Health, Safety and Fire Services

Key requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
• NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or Level 3 equivalent (essential)
• Associate Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (essential)
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or working towards (desirable)
• Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Qualification (desirable)
• TechIOSH or CertIOSH membership
• Member Institute of Fire Safety Managers membership or equivalent (desirable)
• Full clean driving licence
• At least three years demonstrable fire risk assessment experience
• At least two years demonstrable health and safety experience
• Understanding of UK Health, Safety and Fire legislation and compliance
• Client/stakeholder facing experience
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
