Family Law Partner – Leeds

Overview

In this role you will co-lead private family law and matrimonial work while helping to expand the Leeds office. You join a respected Manchester-based practice with aims to build a strong Family and Matrimonial team in Leeds. You will leverage your high-quality private client experience to drive growth, market development, and client delivery. This is a collaborative, senior role with a focus on reputation, leadership, and strategic expansion in a collegiate firm.

Responsibilities

• lead private family law and matrimonial matters for high-quality private work
• drive and help market the Leeds Family and Matrimonial team
• support expansion plans and cross-office collaboration
• lead and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to firm culture
• build relationships with clients and referrers to grow the practice
• facilitate team movement when beneficial but not essential

Key requirements

• extensive experience in high-quality private family law and matrimonial work
• proven track record as a partner or senior lawyer with leadership capabilities
