Fraud Operations-Issue Management Lead Analyst – C13 – BELFAST

Overview

In this role you coordinate and manage issues across Citi to ensure regulatory compliance and effective remediation. You will work with key stakeholders to investigate gaps, develop corrective actions, and push for sustainable solutions. You’ll lead quality reviews, track issues, and provide analytics to identify risk trends and drive process improvements. The role combines risk, controls governance, and cross-functional collaboration to close issues timely and prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive issue management with stakeholders
• Support issue quality reviews to ensure policy and standard compliance
• Facilitate quality control engagement across high-impact remediations
• Maintain issue tracking and quality metrics to surface risk and escalation
• Provide challenge to stakeholders to implement sustainable root-cause solutions
• Use analytics to identify remediation trends and process improvements
• Assess control gaps and risks leveraging data analysis
• Help develop corrective action plans addressing identified gaps/failures
• Incorporate lessons learned into corrective action plans for timely closure
• Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance
• Collaborate with internal audit, business units, and senior management to drive resolution and risk awareness
• Escalate and report control issues with transparency and uphold ethical standards

Key requirements

• Experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related roles in financial services
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
• Strong knowledge in developing and executing controls
• Proven track record in control-related functions in finance
• Experience implementing sustainable process improvements
• Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices
• Familiarity with Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating risk and control activities
• Strong verbal and written communication, with senior management engagement
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word
