Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims, including complex and high-severity matters
• Support senior colleagues on large-scale, strategically important litigation
• Build relationships with healthcare clients and provide clear, commercially-focused advice
• Supervise and mentor junior fee earners where appropriate
• Contribute to business development, training sessions, seminars, and client engagement
• Help grow and raise the profile of the Cardiff team

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in defendant clinical negligence
• Experience handling complex litigation and managing own caseload
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience supervising junior colleagues (advantageous)
