Operations Director – Project Management

Overview

In this site-based role in Jersey, you will lead delivery as NEC Project Lead for the Overdale acute hospital under the NHFP. You will provide visible construction leadership, manage NEC4 contract administration, and work with the main delivery partner to drive programme certainty and risk management. You will coordinate stakeholders across client, clinical, contractor and supply teams and support the transition from design to construction in a complex procurement. This is a high-profile role that shapes delivery of major health infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery as NEC Project Lead (construction) for the Overdale hospital
• Provide site-based leadership throughout the construction phase
• Manage NEC4 contract administration and interface with main works partner
• Drive programme certainty, risk management and performance against outcomes
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across client, clinical, contractor, and supply chain teams
• Support transition from design to construction after a multi-stage procurement

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering large-scale healthcare or complex infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership capability in stakeholder-rich environments
• Extensive NEC4 contract experience, ideally as an NEC Accredited Project Manager
• Experience progressing through RIBA Stages 4-5 on major schemes
