Mandarin speaking Job – Electrical Data Centre Engineer – rj

Overview

In this role, you will support the design, operation and ongoing optimization of data centre electrical facilities to ensure reliability, safety and compliance. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with the FM team and drive technical governance across high‑risk electrical activities. The position focuses on risk mitigation, asset lifecycle management and energy‑efficiency improvements within a global standards framework. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level opportunity to shape critical electrical infrastructure in a data‑centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Operational oversight and vendor management to align electrical operations with global standards and SLAs
• Act as SME for complex electrical issues and lead RCA for power incidents; identify SPOFs and oversee mitigations
• Strategic asset and lifecycle management including CAPEX planning and capacity expansion; drive energy efficiency initiatives
• Ensure compliance and safety standards across electrical systems, including LO/TO and Arc Flash procedures

Key requirements

• Fluent Mandarin and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
• CEng or IEng preferred
• Solid experience in data centre electrical operations
• Knowledge of Electrical Power Engineering
• Familiarity with electrical calculation software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong teamwork, communication, and stress management skills
• Excellent coordination and interpersonal abilities
• Eligible to work in the UK with right documentation
