Overview

As Pricing Governance Manager, you help shape and embed pricing governance across QBE European Operations. You’ll coordinate across Pricing, Underwriting, Risk and Audit to ensure transparent, consistent governance aligned with regulatory and business priorities. You’ll translate governance requirements into practical outcomes, fostering collaboration and reporting across multiple teams. The role offers impact in a growth-focused, risk-aware environment that values cross-functional partnership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and ongoing enhancement of the Pricing Governance Framework
  • Maintain pricing governance policies, guidance, processes, and training materials
  • Coordinate governance reporting and MI for key forums and committees
  • Monitor governance activities, risks, actions and issues, ensuring tracking and reporting
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Underwriting, Risk and Audit to ensure a consistent approach
  • Provide governance advice to stakeholders and attend governance forums as required
  • Undertake governance reviews, attestations and remediation activities as needed
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and enhance governance effectiveness
  • Build relationships across teams to encourage collaboration and shared understanding
  • Contribute to pricing governance planning and capability development

Key requirements

  • Experience in insurance pricing, underwriting, governance or risk
  • Knowledge of pricing activities and frameworks in insurance
  • Ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and challenge constructively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with multi-priority management
  • Ability to interpret information and support informed decision-making
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and practical solutions
  • Comfort working independently while being highly collaborative
  • Degree and/or equivalent professional qualification would be beneficial
