Plant Manager- Luton

Overview

In this role you lead the Luton site’s manufacturing operations to safely, efficiently, and profitably deliver objectives within the SQDICP framework. You will drive a high-performance culture aligned with Eaton’s values, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, inventory/cost, and people. You’ll tackle continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance while role‑modeling Eaton’s cultural commitments. Responsibilities

• Promote an uncompromising safety culture and ensure regulatory and environmental compliance
• Maintain product and process quality to meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Drive on-time delivery through optimized production planning and supply chain collaboration
• Achieve productivity, cost reduction, and profitability targets; manage budgets and capex
• Develop a diverse, engaged workforce; build leadership capability and succession plans
• Deploy and monitor site H5 objectives and KPIs; communicate progress to leadership

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years of senior manufacturing leadership (Plant Manager or equivalent)
• Proven track record delivering SQDICP results (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory/Cost, People)
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Eaton Business System
• Strong financial and operational acumen; experience with SAP and manufacturing ERP
• Ability to analyze operational data and drive fact-based decisions
• Leadership competencies including strategic thinking, coaching, change management, and effective communication
• Experience in 1–2 key support functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Quality, or Operational Excellence) and leading large-scale change
