Overview

In this role you join Goldman Sachs’ TMT advisory team to help clients navigate complex transactions. You will develop financial models, perform valuations, and support live deal execution across mergers, acquisitions, and financing activities. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to prepare presentations and coordinate due diligence, aiming to deliver world‑class execution. The position offers exposure to senior bankers and a pathway to grow into a senior TMT investment banker.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present analyses and reports using industry research, models, and statistics for TMT clients on strategic and capital markets topics
• Run financial analyses (DCF, LBO, comparables) for mergers, IPOs, and financing options
• Assess accounting/regulatory statements, projections, and models to advise on financial strategy
• Support live deal execution including due diligence, drafting legal documents, and coordinating with deal teams and external parties
• Maintain client communication and coordinate with senior bankers and product experts to address market and economic issues
• Engage with client management and cross‑functional teams to progress projects and provide updates

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of work experience or MBA with relevant experience
• Significant investment banking experience with a focus on Technology/TMT sector preferred
• Experience with buy‑side and sell‑side M&A, equity and debt financing
• Experience with due diligence and transaction execution processes
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comps)
• Experience preparing industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials
• Strong teamwork and cross‑regional collaboration abilities
