Overview
As a Contentious Construction Lawyer, you will handle high-value construction disputes for a mix of clients from employers to contractors and consultants. Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, you’ll contribute to a high-profile team resolving disputes across Sheriff Courts, adjudications, arbitrations and mediations. You’ll work on live projects and help steer complex, multi-faceted cases towards favourable outcomes. This role offers strong career prospects within a leading Scottish commercial firm.

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction disputes across various contracts
- Advise on dispute resolution methods and strategies
- Pursue or defend claims in Sheriff Court and Court of Session, adjudications, arbitrations and mediations
- Collaborate within a team on high-profile, high-value disputes
- Provide ongoing construction-related advice on live projects
Key requirements
- NQ-4 PQE in contentious construction or commercial dispute resolution
