Overview

In this field-based role, you will drive growth for Convatec’s Advanced Wound Care portfolio within the NHS by forging strategic partnerships and securing product access on regional formularies and tenders. You will work closely with senior clinical and commercial stakeholders across ICSs to deliver value-based solutions. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decisions, and shaping procurement approaches. Your impact spans revenue, profitability, and market share in a UKI NHS context, with a strong focus on sustainable patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Maximise territory performance by meeting sales and broader targets
  • Identify and deliver new NHS and ICS opportunities to grow revenue and market share
  • Manage local profitability and drive profit growth where applicable
  • Develop and execute ICS-wide strategic plans aligned to sales objectives
  • Maintain key relationships with ICS executives, ICB leaders, and providers
  • Build NHS knowledge of structures, priorities, and challenges at national and local levels
  • Conduct investigative research to understand customer needs and present Convatec solutions
  • Position Convatec as a trusted partner for safe, effective wound care solutions
  • Collaborate across UKI and wider business functions to achieve objectives
  • Deliver value-based procurement initiatives and new commercial growth models
  • Track performance and pipeline; utilise CRM for account management and analytics

Key requirements

  • Strong selling skills and capability to negotiate with diverse, high-level customers
  • Clear communication of product value and commercial benefits to ICS stakeholders
  • Understanding of price, profitability, and P&L implications in negotiations
  • Multi-role sales experience including direct selling, influence, and relationship management
  • Consistent track record of delivering sales performance
  • Analytical ability to interpret data for planning and decision making
  • Project leadership and objective-setting ability
  • Interpersonal skills for internal and external networking
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of NHS structures, strategies, and terminology
  • Experience driving product access within NHS settings
