Overview
In this role you drive cloud adoption for NHS trusts and ICSs, building senior IT leadership relationships and turning healthcare needs into cloud-enabled transformations. You develop account plans that align AWS capabilities with transformation priorities, from frontline digitisation to cyber resilience. You articulate business and clinical outcomes to boards and manage a pipeline across migration, managed services, data platforms, and AI/ML workloads. You collaborate with partners and AWS specialists to design solutions and navigate NHS procurement routes, contributing to the UK healthcare transformation landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of NHS trusts and ICS organisations within a region, building relationships with CIOs/CDIOs/CFOs and digital directors
- Develop and execute account plans aligning cloud capabilities to customer transformation priorities
- Position cloud migration as a business transformation lever, articulating outcomes to Board-level stakeholders
- Build and manage a pipeline across infrastructure migration, managed services, data platforms, and AI/ML workloads
- Collaborate with AWS partner ecosystem to develop joint solutions and co-sell motions
- Work with Solutions Architects, Partner Development Managers, and Specialist teams to deliver depth and proof-of-concept engagements
- Navigate NHS procurement frameworks and support multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Contribute to thought leadership, policy engagement, and industry events to position AWS as the strategic cloud partner for NHS healthcare
Key requirements
- Experience in technology-related account management or field sales
- Experience in healthcare environment (preferred)
- Experience with channel- and partner community across multiple sales segments (preferred)
- Experience developing strategies influencing leadership decisions at organizational level (preferred)
