Overview

In this role, you will lead the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board (SSASPB) to meet statutory duties and drive continuous improvement in safeguarding adults. You will work with senior leaders across health, social care and police to shape priorities and monitor impact. The position offers strategic influence, collaboration across organisations, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference for adults at risk. A credible, proactive leader will thrive in a dynamic partnership environment and help translate safeguarding learning into service improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Independent Chair and partner safeguarding leads to ensure board effectiveness
  • Manage the business support officer to ensure smooth board operations
  • Represent the board in national and regional groups to promote SSASPB work
  • Coordinate responses to Safeguarding Adult Reviews and monitor actions arising from reviews
  • Support and oversee delivery of statutory duties by the safeguarding board
