Residential Technical Coordinator – London

Overview

In this role you support the technical team on new build residential developments in London, collaborating with architecture and commercial/production colleagues to deliver drawing packages on schedule. You will review and question design information across disciplines, interpret regulations, and manage programmes and critical paths. The position offers growth within a top residential developer and the chance to shape technical delivery on multiple schemes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate drawing packages with the architectural team
• Liaise with commercial and production teams during development
• Review and interrogate design information across disciplines
• Monitor project programmes and identify Critical Paths
• Communicate effectively with all disciplines at all levels
• Ensure compliance with Building Regs, NHBC standards, and sustainability requirements
• Organise processes and people to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Support delivery of detailed design for various construction forms (RC frame, timber frame)

Key requirements

• Residential developer experience 4–5+ years on multiple new build schemes
• Strong knowledge of the development/technical design process
• Experience with detailed design for residential schemes (RC frame, timber frame)
• Ability to question and query design information across disciplines
• Architectural background; AutoCAD beneficial
• Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and sustainability
• Ability to interpret and negotiate compliance
• Capability to manage programmes and identify critical paths
• Degree level education or relevant professional qualification
• Strong communication across disciplines and good organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage people, processes, and time
