You will join a friendly GP team in a high-performing training practice near Hayes, contributing to patient care across a broad primary care remit. In this role you will balance a 4–6 session week, delivering telephone and face-to-face consultations, chronic disease management, and health promotion with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Clinical consultations (telephone and face-to-face)
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, asthma) and care plan monitoring
- Health promotion and disease prevention education
- Emergency care in urgent situations
- Team collaboration with nurses and support staff
- Multidisciplinary team meetings
- Administrative duties (records, meetings, training)
- Professional development and CPD participation
- Quality improvement and adherence to safety standards
- Achieving QOF indicators at practice and PCN level
Key requirements
- Medical degree from a recognised institution
- GMC registration and GP Register inclusion
- Postgraduate training in general practice (GPST)
- MRCGP desirable
