Overview

In this role, you provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors, supporting daily routines and activities. You work closely with clients and families to build trusted relationships and enhance quality of life. You’ll handle light housekeeping, meal preparation with food safety in mind, and personal care, while also supporting mobility, dementia awareness, and social engagement. The position emphasizes compassionate, respectful care that reflects the company’s dedication to high-quality senior support.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation with clients
• Facilitate activities and outings to promote engagement
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and kitchen tasks
• Prepare meals with food safety awareness and varied menus
• Support personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care
• Accompany clients to appointments and social events
• Support pet care where needed
• Understand perspectives of clients with dementia/alzheimer’s and support routines
• Assist with morning and evening routines
• Coordinate with families and caregivers to ensure consistent, person-centered care
