Cyber Security Manager

Overview

In this Cyber Security Manager role, you’ll lead security services and govern protections across networks, systems and data. You’ll work within the Service Delivery team to ensure security posture, handle incident analysis and remediation, and drive security improvements with vendors. You’ll support client compliance requirements and establish best-practice standards. This position offers hybrid working and the chance to shape security strategy in a fast-moving IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for all security solutions including 3rd party managed services
• Maintain overall security of network, systems and data
• Monitor security access and manage IDS/IPS configurations
• Establish security best-practice standards and departmental policies
• Lead security scanning and remediation of vulnerabilities
• Analyze security incidents to determine root cause
• Recommend and implement upgraded security measures and controls
• Deliver security responses for customer and client compliance requirements
• Develop and manage security plans with vendors
• Audit administrators and conduct security awareness training

Key requirements

• Demonstrable security leadership and 3rd party management experience
• CISSP certification preferred
• Compliance knowledge of ISO27001, PCI and GDPR
• Possibly a certified ethical hacker
• Knowledge of security technologies (network appliances, firewall administration, AD, IAM, PAM, SIEM, UEBA, AV, IDS/IPS, MDM)
• Understanding of ITIL or LEAN is preferred
• Exposure to desktop/laptop management, profile management and access control methodologies
• Proactive approach to staying updated with current security technologies and trends
