Product Compliance Manager (Nottingham or Huntingdon, UK)

Overview

In this role, you will own Videojet’s global hardware compliance strategy, partnering with engineering and product teams to shape the regulatory roadmap. You will work hands-on to translate regulatory directives into actionable guidance and drive multi-year compliance programs. You will engage certification bodies and influence senior cross-functional leaders to prioritize compliance work. This role offers high visibility and real impact across Videojet products as part of Veralto’s Quality & Innovation ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the multi-year hardware compliance roadmap from concept to execution
• Monitor global regulatory developments and flag emerging risks
• Collaborate directly with engineering and product teams to translate directives into actionable guidance
• Engage and negotiate strategies with certification bodies (UL, TÜV) on scope, timelines and costs
• Drive influence with senior cross-functional leaders to prioritize compliance initiatives
• Work hands-on through to validation, testing scope, and approvals with certification bodies

Key requirements

• 7+ years in Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or related hardware/electromechanical field
• Deep knowledge of EU and North American regulatory frameworks (CE Marking, Machinery Directive, EMC, LVD, REACH, RoHS; UL, FCC)
• Proven experience negotiating product approval strategies, timelines, and costs with certification bodies
• Ability to translate ambiguous regulations into clear, actionable guidance and drive it to execution
• Fluent English, written and spoken
