Overview
As Strategic Imaging Account Manager, you drive long-term value for GE in the NHS and private clinics across the North West, leading complex imaging solutions sales. You’ll build and sustain high-level relationships, align strategy across a matrix organisation, and pursue opportunities across CT, MR, X-ray, interventional and women’s health. You influence decisions, forecast demand, and champion a customer-centric, commercially rigorous approach. This role offers impact across healthcare delivery and business growth within GE’s imaging portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Owns the customer relationship and acts as the key interface with assigned accounts
- Analyze customer needs, competitive offerings, and market changes to position GE solutions effectively
- Lead opportunities from lead generation through revenue recognition and tender management
- Manage territory administration, sales process, CRM data, and accurate forecasting
- Oversee funnel management and long-term strategic account development to protect against competition
- Build long-term strategic alliances with GE accounts to expand value and maintain growth in the install base
- Drive commercial excellence and continuous customer experience improvements in cross-functional settings
- Collaborate with sales leaders to expand prospects and close deals; forecast orders and report bi-weekly
- Represent GE at trade associations to promote products and company value
- Support regional leadership to advance UKI business, boosting orders and revenue
Key requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in selling medical imaging technology to the healthcare sector
- Significant sales account management experience in imaging/diagnostics or capital equipment
- Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to travel within the UK, and engage at senior levels
- Solution-focused problem solving and ability to propose innovative proposals
- Strong commercial creativity and entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office, SFDC/CRM tools, and data-driven forecasting
- Valid UK driving license
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and cross-functional collaboration
