Overview
As a Quantitative Analyst in our London team, you will develop and manage proprietary models that power the bet-placement platform. You’ll operate in a small, relaxed group using modern open-source tools, handling large data volumes and running scalable experiments in live markets. Your work directly supports traders and developers to improve prediction accuracy and take insights from noisy data. Responsibilities
- Build and improve sports prediction models
- Research Bayesian updating to extract signals from noisy data
- Design and implement your own models using your ideas
- Collaborate with expert traders and developers to enhance models
Key requirements
- 3+ years commercial experience in sports betting
- 1st class mathematics-based degree or 2:1 from Oxbridge
- Solid understanding of statistical prediction and probability theory (e.g., regression and model fitting)
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and willingness to try new approaches
- Interest in sports or competitive games
- Postgraduate qualifications in statistics preferred
