Head of Architecture and Integration – London

Overview

As Head of Architecture and Integration, you will steer architectural strategy for an international investment bank in the City of London. You will provide end-to-end analysis, create architectural specifications, and guide solution design and implementation. You will balance time, resources, and strategic direction to deliver high-value solutions while maintaining enterprise models. You will support senior decision-makers with expert consultation and clear documentation. This role offers a chance to shape architecture at a global scale and influence project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end analysis and architectural specifications to guide solution delivery
• Identify delivery options that balance time, resources, and strategic direction
• Distill complex problems for analysis, assessment, and resolution
• Support senior decision-makers with consultation and expertise
• Document and oversee project-specific principles and guidelines for design, build, and implementation
• Produce architecture and design documents (process, data, interaction models) to articulate the proposed solution
• Support solution design for projects by guiding build and implementation teams
• Maintain and extend enterprise architectural models

Key requirements

• 10+ years of senior technology experience
• Experience in an investment bank in various technical roles
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or higher/equivalent)
