Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist (London)

Overview

As a member of the C3 AI Data Science team, you will help customers build AI-powered enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform. You will design and deploy ML algorithms, collaborate with data scientists and domain experts, and enable customers to scale their analytics. You’ll evaluate model performance and tune models to deliver reliable insights for digital transformation. You will travel occasionally to work with client teams and ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, implementation, and deployment of ML algorithms, intelligent agents, and optimization solutions for enterprise applications on the C3 AI Suite
• Assist and enable customers to build their own applications on the C3 AI Suite
• Contribute to design and implementation of new features of the C3 AI Suite
• Analyse model performance across asset fleets, diagnose issues, and recommend hyperparameter adjustments
• Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from C3 AI and customer teams to validate and use new data elements

Key requirements

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields
• Applied AI experience (generative AI, agentic solutions, regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning)
• Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
• Experience with scalable ML (MapReduce, streaming)
• Ability to drive a project and work independently and in a team
