As a Senior Software Engineer, you will strengthen the Chainlink Runtime Environment by designing scalable, reliable platform services and production-grade backend systems. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams to enable resilient workflow execution and support growth of a flagship product. Your work will focus on improving durability, performance, and operational excellence across the CRE platform. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly scalable platform services for CRE
• Lead production backend services and APIs for multiple stakeholders
• Drive architecture improvements for vertical and horizontal scaling
• Improve workflow durability and platform resilience through testing and ops
• Partner with cross-functional teams from design to production deployment
• Strengthen platform ownership by reducing silos and improving docs
• Contribute to reliability through engineering practices aligned with SRE goals

Key requirements

• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production platforms
• Advanced proficiency developing production systems in Go (Golang)
• Experience building production APIs and backend applications serving multiple stakeholders
• Strong experience designing and operating distributed systems
• Proven ability delivering reliable, high-quality software through rigorous practices
• Strong systems thinking for architectural trade-offs and solving complex problems
• Self-driven with ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning
