Overview

In this role you design and deliver high-integrity embedded software for defence-focused systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers. You contribute across the software lifecycle, from requirements to delivery, and gain hands-on experience with hardware in lab settings. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-integrity embedded software solutions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and learn from senior engineers
• Apply software engineering lifecycle practices from requirements to delivery
• Participate in build, test, and deployment automation
• Perform hands-on integration with target hardware in lab environments

Key requirements

• Around 4 years of embedded software experience in aerospace, defence, or safety-critical domains
• High-integrity coding using C++ or Ada (RTCA-DO178C)
• Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
• Interest in automation across build, test, and deployment processes
• Willingness to work directly with hardware in lab environments
• Understanding of the software lifecycle from requirements through delivery
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
