Senior BIM Coordinator – London

Overview

In this role you will lead BIM coordination across multi-discipline teams in a London office, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and alignment with BEP guidelines. You will drive model audits, clash detection, and client-facing presentations to support sustainable, high-quality design delivery. You’ll mentor staff, shape BIM processes, and collaborate with global BIM leaders to enhance our digital engineering capability. Responsibilities

• Audit 2D CAD drawings and 3D models, including inter-office submissions
• Lead and facilitate BIM coordination meetings with multi-discipline teams
• Plan and execute internal and external design-team collaboration processes
• Create and maintain Navisworks projects with clash reports; produce animations when needed
• Present 3D model progress and clash reports to project/client teams
• Ensure projects meet BEP, LOD, and client guidelines; manage model quality and data standards
• Coordinate with BIM consultants and RED engineers; support training and development
• Monitor schedules, resources, and task changes; track transmittals and references
• Ensure correct file formats, common references, and model origin is shared across teams
• Review and audit equipment vendor Revit families for compliance with LOD
• Maintain and use model comparison tools for materials, coding, and changes

Key requirements

• BSC/BEng, BTEC National Dip in Construction or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline (desirable)
• Qualifications/certificates in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit Architecture (desirable)
• Experience in a contractor’s drawing office producing coordinated 3D/2D drawings
• Minimum five years Revit project experience (desirable)
• Proven track record in BIM model management, BEP creation, and live modelling standards
• Strong English language skills; leadership experience; client-facing capabilities
