Overview
In this role you drive the post-trade data platform, delivering a scalable and high-performance system to feed downstream applications and analytics. You work closely with business, regulatory, and client teams to implement features, ensure reliability, and monitor the platform. You will shape architecture for near real-time data, enable intelligent insights through an AI-powered UI, and own end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced, global setting. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact trading workflows and data-driven decision making at scale.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a high-availability, scalable platform for processing and persisting large volumes of post-trade data
- Develop reliable data ingestion pipelines from trading and market data sources
- Build distributed computation infrastructure for parallelized queries over big data
- Develop an AI-powered UI/agent framework delivering analytics on processed data
- Coordinate with business, client applications, and regulatory/compliance teams on feature requests and explanations
Key requirements
- 5-10 years of experience building high-performance, low-latency systems (sub-seconds)
- Ability to work independently on complex, industrial-scale software
- Thorough knowledge of Java programming concepts
- Strong OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with low-latency, high-availability systems; JVM internals, GC tuning, concurrency
- Experience with distributed streaming/big data processing
- Exposure to HDFS/S3, SingleStore, Kafka, Flink, Java/Scala
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to drive initiatives independently
