Front-End Developer

Overview

In this role you will develop the UI for a fast-growing luxury fashion ecommerce platform in London. You’ll contribute to a cutting-edge web product used by a high-profile client, shaping user experiences across responsive web interfaces. You’ll work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable front-end features. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality front-end UI using the stack (HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3)
• Build responsive, fluid designs that work across devices
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to translate requirements into UI components
• Keep code modular, tested, and maintainable for a fast-growing platform
• Contribute to the evolution of the web platform and digital experience

Key requirements

• 2+ years of commercial development experience
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong JavaScript and JQuery skills
• Experience with XML
• Some exposure to Angular.js is a plus
• Experience with responsive and mobile web design
• Phonegap/Cordova experience is advantageous
