Project Manager – Data Centers

Overview

As Project Manager for our Data Centre group in London, you will lead large-scale ground-up data centre builds for top tech clients across Europe, guiding delivery from inception to commissioning. You will shape project objectives, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to meet time, cost, quality, and safety targets. You’ll manage procurement, reporting, and client interfaces, driving performance through KPIs. Responsibilities

• Advise at the strategic level during project conception to align with client objectives
• Establish overall success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment aspects
• Set up project governance, processes and systems for the project
• Produce the detailed project plan
• Advise on resource procurement
• Lead and coordinate the cross-functional project team
• Apply performance management techniques using KPIs to improve outcomes
• Manage the change control process
• Monitor project finances and reporting
• Facilitate information flow between team and client via meetings and communications
• Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages

Key requirements

• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
• Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
• Chartered status or on path to achieving it
• Understanding of full project life cycle from conception through post-project review
• Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques
• Design, management or construction experience in general construction environments (residential, office, fit-outs, health & education)
