Overview

As Project Director, you will lead planning and scheduling excellence within a multidisciplinary IPC team to advance project controls and strategy. You will drive integration across teams, oversee high‑level planning, and shape how projects are delivered with robust baselines, resources, and financial models. This role offers influence over processes, tools, and innovations in AI-enabled project controls, delivering tangible impact for large-scale infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and ensure team integration across disciplines
  • Lead planning workshops and stakeholder buy-in for project plans
  • Perform impact analyses and monitor schedule variance
  • Apply advanced planning/scheduling methods and tools and advise on complex requirements
  • Manage planning/scheduling for medium/high complexity projects/programmes
  • Lead and develop a team delivering planning/schedule management services
  • Establish effective planning/schedule management systems and procedures
  • Support senior management in deal negotiations, due diligence, and business development
  • Provide detailed schedule inputs validation, reporting, and basic commentary/analysis
  • Create a future vision and strategy for project controls and scheduling excellence

Key requirements

  • Experience in planning/scheduling, EVM, and project controls methodologies
  • Ability to manage scheduling delivery for complex projects/programmes
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence and drive continuous improvement and best practices
  • Experience with deal negotiations, due diligence, and client relationship management
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for trend analysis and forecasting
