Financial Analyst, WW Operations Sustainability Finance

Overview

In this role you contribute to the Carbon Planning & Analysis (CP&A) team, supporting EU and ROW regions to ensure accurate carbon data, reporting, and financial planning. You will work at the intersection of Sustainability, Finance, and Operations, gaining exposure to carbon science, planning rigor, and decarbonization levers. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, advance data quality, and help scale AI-native reporting. This is a high-visibility, early-career opportunity with mentorship and growing autonomy as carbon fluency builds.

Responsibilities

• Support EU and ROW carbon month-end close (MEC) with data quality aligned to the carbon ledger (GCD) and timely issue resolution
• Maintain and improve EU/ROW carbon reporting and planning data structures within data cluster and Carbon Reporting Deck
• Partner cross-functionally with EU/ROW sustainability, BI, and BU Finance teams to consolidate data requests and resolve discrepancies
• Support EU/ROW carbon planning cycles (OP1/3YF, OP2, Glidepath) ensuring carbon drivers tie to the financial plan
• Conduct deep-dive data quality analyses to identify root causes and propose process or automation improvements
• Contribute to CP&A’s transition toward AI-native reporting and planning, including GenAI-powered variance commentary and automated data quality checks
• Prepare variance commentary and leadership metrics (Kingpin, WWS reviews) under guidance
• Escalate data quality, timeline, or stakeholder risks and collaborate on resolution
• Build subject-matter expertise in carbon data systems and regional drivers to expand scope over time

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or related field
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
