Overview

As International Senior Communications Manager at Osborne Clarke, you will shape and protect the firm’s reputation while bringing the 2030 strategy to life across the international network. You’ll partner with the CEO and senior leaders to craft a compelling narrative for colleagues and external audiences, and to drive engagement through integrated internal communications. The role centers on strategic advisory, storytelling, and calm leadership in complex situations, with a strong emphasis on culture and brand health across jurisdictions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive an integrated internal communications strategy aligned with the 2030 plan and objectives (projects, engagement, clients & markets information, successes)
  • Create and execute a 12-month integrated communications plan for the CEO, International Ops & BD lead, and Head of Markets, including external profile when relevant
  • Lead internal communications and employee engagement strategy to reinforce 2030 strategy, brand values and key messages
  • Act as trusted adviser to the International Board, preparing board-level messaging and ensuring alignment across the network
  • Foster collaboration with Marketing and Communications colleagues across OCI and national teams to ensure consistent messaging
  • Coordinate with external PR/communications consultants to convey strategic messages externally
  • Provide professional support to OCI Leadership and Business Services to deliver consistently excellent communications services
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of communications processes and promote a culture of effective cross-OC collaboration
  • Undertake other duties to ensure the operation of corporate communications services
  • Report to the CEO; influence across multiple teams and jurisdictions

Key requirements

  • Strategic advisory capability with experience influencing senior executives to board level
  • Experience in reputational risk management, crisis and issues management
  • Deep understanding of internal communications and its role in shaping organisational culture
  • Excellent emotional intelligence, relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills in a corporate tone
  • Strong planning, process and project management skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to adopt new technologies
  • Proven track record delivering PR/communications strategies in a complex corporate environment
  • Media training experience or willingness to undertake
  • Leadership ability to coach, mentor and motivate peers and direct reports
