You will handle acquisitions, disposals, and development-related agreements for developers, landowners, and housing providers, contributing across the project lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Advising on residential development acquisitions and disposals
- Handling strategic land matters, including promotion and option agreements
- Managing affordable housing transactions
- Drafting and negotiating development agreements and conditional contracts
- Overage, easements and related property arrangements
- Conducting title investigations and due diligence
- Supporting major development projects throughout their lifecycle
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in Commercial Real Estate
- Experience handling residential development and/or strategic land matters
- Strong technical knowledge and drafting ability
- Commercially focused with pragmatic client advice
- Experience working with developers, landowners, housebuilders or registered providers (desirable)
- Enthusiastic about business development and building long-term client relationships
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Motivated to contribute to the team’s growth
