In this role you will lead a varied private client caseload within a well‑established regional firm in Poole. You will work autonomously with client-facing responsibility, shaping wills, estates, and trust planning while mentoring junior team members. The role emphasizes client development, relationship building, and contributing to departmental and firm growth. You will partner with cross‑functional colleagues to deliver high‑quality, timely advice and support. Responsibilities
- Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning
- Administering estates and managing probate matters
- Advising on Tax and Trusts
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Building strong client relationships and encouraging referrals
- Meeting billing and time recording targets
- Contributing to departmental growth and firmwide success
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE in Private Client law
- Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues
- Commercial awareness and client development experience
- Familiarity with case management systems (preferred)
- SFE/STEP accreditation or willingness to pursue
