Data Scientist

Overview

In this role you own end-to-end model development, from ideation to production. You’ll join one of our teams—Passenger, Supply, Matching or Mapping—to tackle challenging problems like ETA prediction, dispatch optimization, and pricing. You’ll work with engineers, designers and product managers to translate ambiguous problems into production-ready algorithms. This is a privacy-focused, high-scale platform where your models directly impact ride efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full model lifecycle from ideation to production deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve ambiguous problems and implement production-ready algorithms
• Develop new proofs of concept and improve existing algorithms
• Research and deliver PoC into products

Key requirements

• STEM degree from a top 3 university in your country
• 2 years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning or similar
• Excellent programming skills in Python and relevant tools
• Deep understanding of fundamentals of probability and statistics
