Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead mechanical building services design across a diverse portfolio, from concept to completion. Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and delivery for building services projects
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and reports
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other design disciplines
• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance throughout projects
• Manage project programmes, resources, and deliverables
• Support and mentor junior engineers
• Ensure compliance with UK and European standards and regulations

Key requirements

• Proven experience in Mechanical Building Services design
• Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
• Strong background across commercial, retail, residential, healthcare, and education sectors
• Proficient in Hevacomp, IESVE, AutoCAD, Revit (3D)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (preferred; alternative qualifications with relevant experience considered)
