Overview
In this role you will enable a busy contact centre across voice and chat channels while advancing the platform roadmap and keeping services secure and stable. You’ll collaborate across tech teams in a outcomes-driven culture, coaching peers and driving great customer outcomes. You will set and uphold engineering standards and help others grow their skills. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position that combines serverless architecture, real-time troubleshooting, and scale-driven design to support Amazon Connect-based workflows.
Responsibilities
- Enable and support a busy contact centre across voice and chat channels
- Deliver on the platform roadmap while ensuring security and stability of services
- Collaborate across multiple tech teams and promote an outcome-based culture
- Set engineering standards and mentor engineers to raise skill levels
- Design and own end-to-end deployments from development through production
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize systems, and participate in proactive incident management
Key requirements
- Production-grade software engineering experience and knowledge of SDLC
- Ability to lead by example, mentor others, and promote best practices
- Experience designing and deploying software end-to-end with architectural thinking
- Strong problem solving for performance and reliability
- Familiarity with AWS, Lambda, Amazon Connect, DynamoDB
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (e.g., Jenkins)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to troubleshoot distributed systems
