Software Engineer – Scotland

Overview

In this role you will help build and deliver digital products for clients, applying full-stack expertise across diverse domains. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead delivery and quality, and shape engineering solutions that drive client value. You’ll work with cutting-edge tech, across multiple stacks, and spend time onsite with clients as needed. The role offers growth within a global engineering community and opportunities to influence large-scale outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead client accounts holistically: people, delivery, quality, and commercial aspects
• Deliver high-quality engineering work with a focus on value and low complexity
• Operate across the full development lifecycle in a hands-on and leadership capacity
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement digital products and solutions
• Contribute to internal and regional engineering communities and share knowledge
• Adapt to various domains and stacks, and help clients leverage consultancy capabilities

Key requirements

• Solid full-stack engineering experience
• Core technology experience in React and Java
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Collaborative, adaptable, and growth-minded
• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience building datastore solutions on No-SQL (Elasticsearch)
