Loss Prevention Specialist, Security and Loss Prevention

Overview

In this role, you protect people and assets across Amazon’s operational sites by delivering security as a service within the end-to-end supply chain. You’ll perform audits, investigate incidents, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate risks while ensuring compliance. You contribute to crisis planning and maintain site security standards, enabling resilient operations and a smooth customer experience. This position offers meaningful impact by reducing loss, safeguarding associates, and protecting the brand through data-driven security efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support resilience of operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for sites in your area
• Identify vulnerabilities (loss, associate experience, process) and define mitigating actions with compliance
• Coordinate risk management with local management and external parties (law enforcement, industry associations)
• Ensure assigned sites comply with Amazon global security standards
• Conduct regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, incidents, and losses
• Monitor systems and tools, analyze data reports, and conduct interviews to inform mitigations
• Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure quality security services and customer experience
• Liaise with internal departments (legal, HR) and multiple stakeholders on security and Loss Prevention matters
• Deliver loss prevention education and awareness programs across teams
• Maintain health status and functionality of security systems with SMEs and external suppliers

Key requirements

• Experience in security and loss prevention
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel for data manipulation and analysis
