Health and Safety Consultant

Overview

In this role you will deliver health & safety and fire safety risk management across diverse sectors, helping clients meet regulatory and corporate requirements. You’ll work within Ramboll’s UK safety consultancy team to provide pragmatic, risk-based advice and drive improvements. You’ll engage with clients, develop proposals, and support project delivery and governance. This position offers growth through hands-on consultancy and cross-border collaboration in a flexible, supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health & safety and fire safety risk management services in a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Execute project work including audits, risk assessments, training, reporting, and bespoke client solutions
• Collaborate with a wide range of clients and support on proposals and bids/tenders
• Support wider promotion of H&S services across the UK business
• Contribute to environmental projects as required
• Assist with project planning, resource coordination, timesheets, invoicing, budget tracking, and maintaining project records

Key requirements

• At least two years of demonstrable H&S experience
• Understanding of UK H&S and Fire Safety legislation and compliance
• Confident in client/stakeholder-facing environments
• Full clean driving licence
• Developing knowledge of fire risk assessment
• Comfortable working in a team with independent workload management
• Desirable NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or working towards
• Desirable NEBOSH Fire Level 3 or equivalent, or working towards
• TechIOSH or GradIOSH (desirable)
