Fire Engineers UKI (All Levels)

Overview

In this role you contribute to delivering world-class life safety solutions as part of Jensen Hughes’ UK Fire Engineering teams. You will work on large-scale projects across multiple offices, shaping fire safety strategies and using advanced modelling tools. You’ll collaborate with clients and design teams, mentor junior staff, and help grow the client base. Responsibilities

• Deliver or lead large and complex fire engineering projects with successful client outcomes
• Develop or review fire safety strategies across design, construction, and operation
• Contribute to or manage CFD modelling and tools (CFAST, Pyrosim, Pathfinder) for alternative solutions
• Perform fire safety surveys, inspections, and site assessments
• Build strong client and design-team relationships and provide clear technical guidance
• Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates
• Contribute to business development and client base growth (where appropriate)

Key requirements

• Background in fire engineering, ideally in a consultancy
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering or closely related discipline
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience levels from Graduate to Technical Director will be considered
• Chartered Engineer status is a plus (working towards or holding)
