Construction Manager- Bristol

Overview

In this role you will lead installation operations across Bristol and the South West for lift and escalator projects, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery. You’ll work with engineers, project managers and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget under KONE’s safety-first culture. You will drive productivity, coach engineers, and manage risks to enable smooth multi-site execution. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on delivery excellence and continuous improvement. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping safe, efficient installations that meet customer expectations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation teams across multiple sites
• Ensure projects align with KONE safety and quality standards
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams
• Support and develop engineers through coaching and performance management
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Identify risks and proactively implement solutions

Key requirements

• Proven experience in construction or installation management (lifts/escalators or similar industry preferred)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of health & safety regulations within construction environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full UK driving licence
