Overview

As a Project Finance Associate, you will support complex financings across energy and infrastructure sectors, partnering with lenders, sponsors and developers. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering commercially-focused advice on cross-border transactions. You will handle high-profile financings and refinancings, helping shape energy transition projects and infrastructure development in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities

• Lead and support on project financings and asset financings
• Handle acquisition, asset, refinancing, and portfolio/fund financings
• Work on cross-border energy and infrastructure transactions
• Provide client-facing support and integrated solutions with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop understanding of energy and infrastructure markets and clients’ needs

Key requirements

• 3-6 years’ PQE in project finance
• Experience acting for lenders and/or borrowers
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management
• Desire to develop a specialism in energy and infrastructure finance
• Strong commercial awareness and interest in energy transition/infrastructure markets
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Collaborative and proactive approach to working with clients and colleagues
• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland
