Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple development programmes for next‑generation drug delivery devices
• Mentor and guide junior engineers while owning core mechanical design activities
• Translate user, clinical, and regulatory requirements into robust mechanical solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, clients, and suppliers to drive programmes forward
• Provide regular project updates and manage stakeholders across cross‑functional teams

Key requirements

• Mechanical Engineering background with strong academic foundation
• Industry experience in regulated drug delivery systems; commercial mindset
• Experience taking products from development through market launch
• Familiarity with EN60601 is useful; ISO 13485 and design controls are essential
• Comfort working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment
• Cambridge (location stated)
• Master’s or PhD beneficial but not required if industry experience is clear
