Quantity Surveyor (Main Contractor) | Permanent | Milton Keynes

Overview

In this role you will join a long-established main contractor to oversee the commercial delivery of a 30m high-rise residential project in Milton Keynes. You will work closely with the site and project teams to manage cost, procurement and contract administration, ensuring financial control and value delivery. The project targets private rental apartments and represents a significant scalable development for the business. This opportunity combines hands-on project exposure with the stability of a well-known contractor, offering meaningful impact on a high-profile scheme.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost reporting
• Procurement and subcontract administration for the project
• Contract administration and commercial correspondence
• Cost control and value management on a large high-rise scheme
• Liaise with site team and stakeholders to track progress and forecast outcomes

Key requirements

• Degree / HND qualified
• Strong experience with a reputable Main Contractor
• Track record on large, high-rise residential schemes
• Excellent all-round commercial skills
• Able to commute to Milton Keynes daily
