Overview
In this role, you will lead advanced ML initiatives within the CDAO MLCOE to apply NLP, LLMs, graph analytics and other AI methods to real-world financial problems. You will work cross-functionally to productionize models that support decision-making, risk management, and product innovation at scale. You will stay at the forefront of AI research, share knowledge, and drive firm-wide frameworks that accelerate ML adoption. This is a collaboration-heavy, impact-oriented leadership role in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art ML models for NLP, speech analytics, time-series, and recommendation systems
- Collaborate with Business, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy and Business Management to deploy solutions into production
- Lead firm-wide initiatives by building large-scale ML frameworks to accelerate model adoption
- Research and explore new ML methods through independent study, conferences, experiments, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to a collaborative environment and participate in knowledge-sharing communities
Key requirements
- PhD in a quantitative discipline or MS with significant industry/research experience
- Solid background in NLP, LLM and graph analytics; hands-on ML/DL experience
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI / multi-agent systems in regulated environments
- Ability to design experiments and evaluate metrics aligned with business goals (intrinsic/extrinsic)
- Experience with big data and scalable model training; strong communication skills
