Agile Software Engineer – Java – Greenfield Multi-Asset Trading Platform

In this role you will work with a world-class fintech team in London to build a greenfield, multi-asset trading platform using modern Java and open-source tech. You will operate in an Agile squad, driving TDD, BDD and pair programming to delivery. The role offers exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS and cross-training in Scala/Kotlin, with a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities

• Drive engineering best practices (TDD, BDD, pair programming) within the Agile squad
• Develop and evolve a greenfield, multi-asset trading platform using Java and modern tech
• Work with bleeding-edge stack (Java, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS) and participate in cross-training (Scala, Kotlin)
• Contribute to design and implementation decisions, and promote open-source tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, robust software across cloud environment

Key requirements

• Java experience: 2+ years for junior roles, 6+ years for senior roles
• Experience with Agile / XP practices including TDD, BDD, Pair Programming
