Specialist – Business Analysis

Overview

As a Technical Business Analyst in the capital markets arena, you bridge business needs with technical solutions. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs, guide data-driven analysis, and shape solutions within regulatory and industry standards. You’ll collaborate across engineering teams to ensure feasible, scalable outcomes that support market-facing initiatives. This role offers impact by aligning technology with capital markets processes and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements with stakeholders
• Translate requirements into technical specs and user stories aligned to business goals
• Assess feasibility and impact of proposed solutions
• Collaborate with developers, architects and tech teams to implement solutions
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, process flows and designs
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements and discuss solutions
• Perform data analysis and modeling to support decisions and identify process improvements
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Support the software development lifecycle from requirements to testing and deployment
• Stay updated on emerging tech and recommend improvements

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst focused on technical projects
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum or Waterfall
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau)
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in Business Analysis or Agile is a plus
