Lead Software Engineer – Java, JavaScript, AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews
• Solve complex engineering problems and troubleshoot issues
• Automate remediation of recurring problems and optimize performance
• Lead vendor evaluations and collaboration with internal teams
• Assess architectural designs and technical credentials to drive outcomes
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering
• Promote adoption of new technologies and practices
• Foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Key requirements

• Hands-on experience building enterprise, high-availability software solutions
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, React JS, Python, etc.)
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Experience with cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or related technical disciplines
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases
