Overview
In this role you will support and manage a personal caseload within the firm’s Trusts & Estates team, focusing on estate planning, trusts and tax matters. You’ll work closely with specialists in a collaborative, values-led environment that emphasises client care and professional development. Responsibilities
- Manage and support the firm’s trust caseload
- Draft wills, trust documents and related estate planning instruments
- Prepare and review trust accounts
- Maintain relationships with trustees and beneficiaries
- Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Attend clients in office or on-site (including home visits)
- Collaborate across the team and wider firm
- Ensure high standards of client care, communication and professional conduct
- Participate in team meetings, marketing and business development
- Maintain ongoing professional development and technical knowledge
Key requirements
- Experience in estate planning, trust administration and/or trust management
- Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision on straightforward matters
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Confidence taking early responsibility and engaging with clients
- IT literacy across legal software and case management systems
- Desirable: STEP membership (or student membership)
